Blaby Bullets History

Blaby Bullets was founded in 2011, originally with just one team under the name of 'Blaby Bulls'. The core aim was to develop a a club with key values and a playing philosophy that would be recognisable across all teams as the club started to grow. Since 2013 the club has made a big investment in Futsal and is one of the few teams in the county to offer regular futsal specific training sessions, with many players now playing at an advanced level. This is additional to football training.

During the 2017/2018 season our U12 team has been very successful; Foxes Football League Division 1 Champions, Futsal League and Cup winners, Loughborough Sixes winners and Silver finalists in the Futsal World Cup in Spain (competing well with Barcelona in the competition). However,  it should be remembered that most of these players have been with the club since the age of 5 or 6 and this has been a patient development process. The philosophy remains the priority over and above results. Whilst we cannot guarantee continued success in terms of results we will continue to provide an environment which promotes creativity and intelligence. This allows players the opportunity to become the best that they can be which is a bigger long term victory than any game, league or cup.

During the 2018/19 season we are looking to steadily grow a girls section and currently have limited spaces for the U8 to U11 age groups (school year 3, 4, 5, 6).
